Ten staff members and three physicians provide family medicine services to area residents at the Trout Run Family Practice. In addition, our physicians also provide obstetric service which makes the Trout Run Family Practice rather unique. Physicians and staff enjoy providing healthcare to a mother in her earliest stages of pregnancy and then celebrating with the family the joy of birth. The excitement of holding a newborn is compounded by Physician and staff providing healthcare to the baby through childhood and as an adult. Trout Run Family Practice specializes in obstetrics and pediatric medicine. Office hours are Monday through Friday.

Joseph Irwin, MD
Joseph J. Irwin, M.D. came to the Northern Lancaster County Medical Group in July of 2000 fresh from his residency program at the Lancaster General Hospital. His undergraduate degree was earned Lasalle University. Lancaster General Hospital also served as the site for his internship after medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Board certified in Family Practice medicine, Dr. Irwin claims his special interest to be Obstetrics.
Joseph Degenhard, MD
Joseph G. Degenhard, M.D., completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. Dr. Degenhard graduated from medical school from the University of North Carolina and completed his internship and residency at the Lancaster General Hospital in 2002. Dr. Degenhard is board certified in Family Practice medicine and his special interest in Obstetrics. Dr. Degenhard joined the Northern Lancaster County Medical Group’s Trout Run Family Practice in July of 2003.
Mandy R. Fannin , MD
Mandy R. Fannin, M.D. joined Trout Run Family Practice July 1, 2009. Dr. Fannin received her masters in Biological Science from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and her medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners and is an active member of the medical staff at Ephrata Community Hospital.
